Soul Reflections

A breakup can make you feel weak, but it is wise to come out of that pain to witness the new phase in life. Remember, everything happens for a reason, and maybe your ex was not the right person for you. The future must be holding great moments of excitement and romance for you. Shed tears recalling those moments, and slowly erase them from your mind. Let the past be past, move on, and welcome the future. You could have given up, but you kept on going.
You could have seen obstacles,
but you called them adventures.
You could have called them weeds,
but instead you called them wildflowers. You could have died a caterpillar, but you fought on to be a butterfly. You could have denied yourself goodness, but instead you chose to show yourself self-love. You could have defined yourself by the dark days, but instead through them you realised your light. Young, carefree, innocent, You sing, laugh and dance, Taking in all Gods' glory
At every single chance. Grown up,
You ignore the wonders that you cherished as a child. Gone is the carefree, honesty and mild. You walk around with blinders on, Into the race of money and greed. Not caring who gets hurt
Just to fulfill your selfish needs. Stepping over the line of morals
To have wealth and material things.
Ignoring all God’s gifts Like the first rain in Spring. Keep that little child inside! Hold her close to your heart.
We’re only here for a brief time,
Then with this world we must part. For a moment each day it’s OK to get silly, To laugh and dance.
Take in all God’s glory at every single chance. So few years passed, went down to the river, I set down on the bank. I tried to think but couldn’t, So I jumped in and sank.
I came up once and hollered!
came up twice & roared load cries!
If that water hadn’t a been so cold
I might’ve sunk and died.
But it was cold in that water! It was cold! I took the elevator sixteen floors above the ground. I thought about my baby, then thought i would jump down. Feeling the cold breeze I Stood there & I hollered!
If it hadn’t a-been so high
I might’ve jumped, maybe died.
But it was high up there! It was so high, So since I’m still here living
I guess I will live on. could’ve died for love…But for livin’ I was born,
Though you may hear me holler,
& you may see me cry I’ll be dogged, Sweet god no matter whom may be I feel you finally, if you gonna see me die. Life is fine! Fine as wine! Life is fine!
